Aerobic organism

(also oxygen group, aerobiont, oksybion t) - the body uses oxygen in the breathing process as the final a cceptor of protons and electrons (the theory chemiosmotyczna Mitc hell). Breathing oxygen is the most effective way of obtaining ch emical energy in organisms (several times more efficient when it comes to the synthesis of ATP than the anaerobic respiration process). Final (aerobic) respiration processes occur in bacteria in mezosomach and tylakoidach (arranged on the cell membrane). In eukaryotes the process of respiration occurs in the cytoplasm and mitochondria (glycolysis, Krebs cycle, respiratory chain).
